I contacted Dustin last week because I knew I needed to get my brakes done. I asked him to just look over my car because I wanted to make sure just the brakes needed to be done but I had a feeling that something else was going on just not sure what it was. He spent time looking over my car and one of the employees was kind enough to give me a ride to and from work so they could take the time to thoroughly look my car over. When they picked me up from work they went over everything that was urgent that I needed to fix. I was kind of freaking out thinking there was no way I would be able to afford all this and yet didn't think my car would be safe enough to put my kids into it if I didn't figure this out. I went home that night with my car because I needed to get my kids to school the next day and said I would drop it back off there if there was any chance they could get me to work. They did not hesitate at all. Dustin quoted me a price and I was honestly shocked. It was going to be a lot less that I was thinking it would be. The next morning I got my kids to the bus and returned home to finish getting ready for work and when I went to leave to bring my car to them. I heard a loud clunk and my car would not go into drive or reverse. I was mortified. I called Dustin and told him what was going on and he calmed me down and said don't worry. He called a tow truck and sent the same individual from the day before to my house to pick me up and bring me to work. I was very grateful and worried at the same time. All I could think is what is going on with my car and how much extra is it going to cost or am I going to get stuck paying on a car that is just going to sit because I wouldn't be able to afford to fix it. I anxiously waited to hear some bad news. Instead I got phone call telling me it was the issues I had already spoken to him about the day before and they were in the process of working on it. I received a text later in the afternoon stating that my car was finished and I could pick it up. I got a ride to the shop after work and walked in and he was finishing up my bill and when he told me what it was going to cost is was exactly the amount he quoted for me the day before. I just looked at him in shock and he said no worries I took care of the tow for you. I just really am so grateful for the service and the way they were so respectful and did not treat me as just a woman who knew nothing. They really listened to me and went above and beyond in my view to get my car back to being a safe and reliable vehicle and was not out of line at all for the cost. So thank you Matts Auto for everything. I definitely will be coming back to you in future for my car needs.

We were traveling from the Twin Cities and had a check engine light come on, so I stopped by. They were super friendly and checked it for free for me. Unfortunately, I was not able to have them go through the system because we needed to head back home, but they were very friendly and I appreciated the free diagnostic. They shared the codes with me, which was very helpful. had I been staying in town, I would’ve absolutely left my car there.

Brought my car in to get an issue fixed with it starting and some electrical problems ended up spending 1700 to fix the issue as well as some maintenance but in less than a month the issue came right back and when I brought it back they could not do anything for it and when I picked up my car it had a crack across the whole windshield.

I know the service writer Dustin also adds his skillful hands to what needs to be done in the shop to make sure I don't wait any longer than necessary. I trust these guys with my car and trust their analysis of what needs to be done or if nothing needs attention I trust that evaluation for every mile I drive until it's time to see them again for service.

I am an elderly female and have experienced issues with OTHER mechanics that weren’t respectful towards me and lost my business! I had an issue that another mechanic couldn’t identify. This is my first time to Matt’s automotive-they did a deep dive into many components of vehicle and found the noise issue along with other areas of concern that needed attention besides my initial concern. My vehicle has about 50k miles, I bought new, and this is the first time anybody did a thorough inspection of important nature. All was repaired in one day. I’ll be spreading the good news of this business! Thanks Dustin and Andrew!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND you consider them for vehicle issues!!

Got an appointment the same day and finished the work withion an hour. Lobby was very clean and comfortable. When I arrived the I received very courteous service and I was impressed with the bill invoice. I have never seen the importance of the work done. I need new tires and was not pressured into buying from them I was shown three different tires. I felt very comfortable with the team'.

I started using this repair shop shortly after moving to Minnesota. I asked around for a garage to take my vehicle and it came highly recommended. The shop performs excellent work at an acceptable price.

Matt’s Auto does quality work. They are capable of executing complex projects. They communicate well. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

I work in Willmar and I commute from St. Cloud daily. On more than one occasion Matt’s has helped me out so much. Each time they’ve been able to take my car in right away (even when I’ve pulled in right before close). They take a look and know what’s wrong with it, and have been able to support me while waiting for parts or with any of the many questions I’ve had. I would give them 10 stars if I could.As stressful as it can be when you have car issues, I cannot recommend them enough. For someone that is not familiar with the area and had no idea where to go, they are definitely my go to whenever I need anything. Huge shoutout to Dustin, the man that helped with the parts (I’m so sorry I forgot your name), and Rocky! Thanks a million for everything!!! ☺️☺️

I live 30 miles from Matt’s and really like my home town mechanic. My car had a problem that my mechanic couldn’t fix so he recommended Matt’s. Matt’s fixed the problem then did a complimentary, thorough analysis of my car. They sent me an email stating any items they would recommend fixing now or in the near future with zero pressure to get it done there. They also included the prices if I choose to have them do any of the repairs. Thanks Matt’s!

I payed 27 dollars for parts and the total was 480 on a new return hose for the power steering. 150 dollars for a "fluid exchange", and i was not made aware of the cost.They seemed to do a good job, but the prices are astounding.

I don't think there is any explanation for being charged over $450.00 when the part at the highest level that could be found was $54.00, also being charged $175.00 for 3 gallons of antifreeze, in my opinion is a little steep. To recap changed $54.00 for a part, a piece of hose and a couple gallons of antifreeze. Comes to over $700.00. I used to go to this place all the time until something like this happened back then. I guess somethings never change. The empty parking lot should have been a warning.

I had called Matt’s about my truck not starting, they looked at it right away. They called to discuss the problem and gave me the resolution to the problem. Truck was repaired and back on the road running great again.

I like that they have details and pics to go with itemized quotes. So far, I've had good service, and poor service. I will stick with them for now, but wish their prices weren't a nickel and dime situation. A little more personal service and explanation of importance of the list of repair items would go a long way to keeping me.

I called in the morning and told Dustin what the problem i was experiencing and he asked me to come by and he would take a look. As we are from out of state, he got us in the schedule and took care of the problem. Very good experience and would highly recommend.

a major shout out to Dustin!!! We came in from out of town after our car started shaking on the highway. Matt’s Automotive Service Center was able to see us before the end of the day and fix the balance on the wheels quickly so we could make it back to our family vacation with a smooth ride. Friendly, helpful, and super speedy service. I also saw Dustin handling multiple calls at the same time - with a good sense of humor, a deep knowledge of the problems his customers were having, and a calm patient presence - especially given it was so late in a work day. Top notch. Thanks again!

I have gone to them twice, when they told me the cost of fixing the vehicle I was shocked. I got an estimate for a repair on my van from 2 places, and they both came back with $250, but needed about 4 days to do the world. I went to Matt's and they said $950. When I mentioned how much the other places wanted, the guy got mad at me told me to leave and take the vehicle to one of the other places. Claimed there was no way to get the part for less than $600. Both Napa and O'Reilly's had the part in stock for under $120. I ended up taking the vehicle to Town and Country in Spicer and had the work done the next day for $255. And those guys make you feel appreciated for coming to them.

Quick review for this amazing service center. In from out of town and Dustin and the team were absolutely amazing!!! They were able to get us in for an issue we were having, when no one else in the area would. Within a few hours they had us on the road. Friendly and professional customer service, with a hot cup of coffee and a comfy place to park ourselves. The place was the cleanest service center I have been in. Thank you Dustin and the team for your overwhelming hospitality!!!

We were stranded with a new puppy and our other dog 3 hours from home. They found the issue, tracked down the parts we needed and Josh went above and beyond and was willing to stay late to replace what was needed and get us back on the road. Wonderful to work with, talk to and I would forever highly recommend them!! Thank you again!

Had them check out our car after a different shop failed to diagnose it correctly after having it for a month, which did more damage in the end. Got an answer within two days and let me tell you the amount this shop goes through to help you out and make sure you understand everything 100% is just crazy, they will go above and beyond to ensure things get fixed the right way RIGHT away. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a shop you can rely on with great service. Huge shoutout to Andrew and Dustin for helping us out so much, those two helped us the whole way, gave us great advice and explained everything to us through and through. Can’t explain how happy I am with this team.

I have been taking my Subaru to Matt's since I bought it. It is one of few places besides a Sunaru dealership that will work on them. Matt's always gets me in quickly and always lets me know when the services are done so I can make arrangements to get back and pick it up.

We needed a GPS Tracking and Recovery System installed on a clients new vehicle in the Willmar, MN area. We reached out to Dustin at Matt's to get it done and couldn't be happier.
