Our History at our Collision Center
Located south of Fargo, our Automotive and Collision Center was previously known as Corey’s Customs and Collision. Acquired and remodeled in February of 2018, here we perform a variety of collision and auto-body related work. This location also functions as a full service automotive repair facility as well, making sure customers can schedule oil changes and other regular services to help keep their vehicles up to date.
Setting the Industry Standard
At Matt’s Automotive Service Center we are dedicated to setting a new standard in the automotive service industry. We accomplish this by providing our customers with the very best in auto service and never putting money before people.

Matts is the only place I trust! The people are next level with customer service! Every single employee I interact with is nothing but respect, considerate, and knowledgeable. One of their managers, Vern Newman, is the epitome of professionalism and kindness! He has become like family to us as our cars always have something wrong with them! Never will go anywhere else for all things auto!

I went in for an oil change. After their inspection they recommended I replace the serpentine belt. The belt had been replaced the week prior and was brand new. There was a whole lot of backtracking and excuses when they were called out on it.It’s one thing to upsell air filters and windshield wipers, it’s another to recommend completely unnecessary repairs. Shady.

Took my vehicle in for some new brakes. The employees were so nice and helpful. They look great care of my vehicle by doing a full inspection on my tires and brakes before changing them out for me.They helped me save money and were very sweet to my kids by giving them each a teddy bear to take home.Their lobby is very nice, clean, and comfortable unlike other shops I have been to.It was busy but my vehicle was done in a timely manner.I will definitely be going back!Thank you Brody for your help!

I went in to get an estimate on my vehicle. The employee was nice, took pictures, and said he would get my estimate that day or right away the next. I didn't hear back for three business days. I had to email Matt to get a response from the GM. The GM made my estimate within a half hour. I asked them to submit it to insurance. I didn't hear back for three more business days, even though I emailed multiple times. I got a hold of my insurance to see if the estimate was submitted, it wasn't. I finally emailed Matt and the GM telling them that I will be going elsewhere.

10/10 Customer service. They're really transparent about every step, and do super quick work. The service vehicle was a life saver when I had to return a rental early. Not to mention they detailed my car before returning it. I won't go anywhere else and definitely will recommend.

We brought our car in to replace a couple tires and hopefully fix the messed up wire. After waiting for a couple weeks they told us there was no messed up wire and that the car was ready to go. Well on the car ride home the battery died, and we quickly found out the engine belt they took was never replaced, so even if there was no wire issue, we still wouldn’t have made it home. Now we have to pay extra to get it towed and fixed at a different location.

The loaner vehicles are such a convenient part of going to Matt's! I needed to get to a meeting and was so grateful that I didn't have to cancel my day just because my car had unplanned issues. They really took what could have been a stressful situation and made it so easy and I really appreciate that! Not only that, but I know my car is in great hands.

This review will be a little long but think it's worth the read for anyone considering a service center for their car...First and foremost, the people that I've worked with at Matt's all seem very friendly and knowledgeable. I had been going to them since I've moved back in the area in 2017. I trust them more than a dealership with my repair and maintenance work on my vehicle and don't feel like they will find something wrong just to do something. However, I do not feel like they value you as a customer and that's a big concern for me. They only care about their bottom dollar and do not have the humanistic approach that treats their customers like they are important. I run a business too, but my business philosophy clearly does not align with theirs and that is why they have lost my business, as well as others that I have told about my experience. My issue is from a recommendation they made over a year and a half ago that a part (rack and pinion) needed to be replaced due to a slight leak. It's a $4K part, not cheap, but the technician recommended because it requires a total replacement when it does happen to be replaced, it can be filled up at every oil change since I replace my oil when its due. Im not a car person, and have no experience with it, but I am a preventative person and do things before things get worse. I asked if things could get worse, and was told the only thing that could happen is it could leak more but it would be noticeable if it did happen (I check my garage floor for leaks). Ok, so it seemed like the logical choice was to wait since it is just a matter of time and the tech recommended that.Fast forward to the present and the fluid froze and caused another $6K in damages because of that. When I reported the previous recommendation, one of your employees was demonstratively upset for me that it was not disclosed to me that could happen. I never knew power steering fluid could freeze, again Im not a car person but one should be able to conclude if that was the case, it would have been relayed to me. When I talked to a second person there, they mentioned the guy that originally gave me advice was relieved of his duties, and he should have never not told me that. But, they also said they don't believe in scare tactics for a sale. I understand that, but let a customer make the decision for themselves, give them the information and let them decide what is best for their car.I understand I have some liability for not doing the work right away, but I also rely on my techs to give me accurate advice and inform me of risks. And that was never given to me. Mistakes happen, but I appreciate when accountability is taken and steps are made to make sure that I am heard, understood, and taken care of. I believe your company shares part of that liability for not informing of risks and consequences which is part of your job as professionals. You chose to take zero admission of any sort of fault or shortcoming, and did nothing for me. In fact, you backtracked a little to cover your bases. I didn't ask for my work for free. My bill was $10,000 and I didn't even ask for a 10% discount. I in fact asked for even just a small credit such as a future oil change/rotation so it guarantees me to come back to utilize it so it made me feel appreciated and listened to. I do that in my business even if it was outside of my own control, but to me that's just good customer service and the goodwill you create is better than just a few dollars. I value relationships with people I do business with. But you failed at that. And it cost you my business, as well as others.(Also -- you sent out generic coupons later in the week in the mail, just felt like a slap in the face after this and reinforced that I am truly not valued by your company)I'm not an unhappy customer. You do fine work. It was just a business decision. But it's not how I do it with mine. And if others feel the same way I do, I hope this review makes them think twice about choosing your establishment.

Told me that they could repair a wheel that I brought to them. After 2 weeks they called me and said nevermind we can't repair it. I get that they can't repair it but they should have told me up front instead of holding onto it for 2 weeks and then letting me know.

Did an incredible job of finding and diagnosing the issue! Will definitely come back again for any future vehicle repairs.

Was my first time at Matt's, and I will return. They helped me figure out what my truck needs: a new rack and pinion.I ultimately decided drive it home and park it until I can sell it. The truck is too old to be worth fixing.

Matt’s is always my first recommendation to people looking for quality care for their vehicles by people who really DO care. The whole family at Matt’s Automotive are a bunch of great folks who would love to do it all for you. They take customer service way past the extra mile. I always trust my car with Matt’s Automotive. If you haven’t given them a shot yet, you will be very pleased if you do! Thank you Matt’s, for keeping my car in great shape!

Eric was so helpful with the process of getting my car fixed. He made sure to call me and keep me updated. It look a little longer then expected because of weather but they detailed the inside of my car which I loved. So happy with how it turned out!

Awesome experience! Gave me a ride to work and back. Upon returning they did a light detail on my car and left a stuffed animal in all three car seats! Little things go a long ways and they did great work and an amazing experience!

Erik Nagel from the collision center assisted me with the repairs for my E60 M5 that was damaged during transport on my move to Fargo. Through the complications of insurances, to the paint matching the oem silver stone paint, Erik and his team took care of my vehicle like it was one of his own. Communications were consistent throughout the process from parts being in route to completion of the repairs. The repairs came out oem and looked like it did when I first purchased the vehicle. Would definitely recommend Matt’s Automotive to anyone.

I am shocked at how great these guys were! I know they’ve won awards like “Best of Fargo”, but I assumed that would make them much more expensive than their competitors. I got 3 quotes to replace the exterior driver’s side mirror that was accidentally snapped off by my first grader helping bring in the garbage bin. The smaller Mom and Pop type place I live by quoted $325. The other well known place said $425! I was very discouraged but then I got the quote from Matt’s and it was $145!! I almost fainted! I thought it must be a mistake, but I scheduled it for the next week. When I brought a part in for them to check if it would fit on the new mirror, the guy who was going to do it mentioned that it is a quick fix so I could just stop by whenever and he could just get it done quickly. So I went in a few hours later and he put it on in 15 minutes!!! I didn’t have to wait until the next week and I was extremely happy (it’s very hard to drive without that mirror). I will tell everyone about the exemplary service I received there. It was amazing!

I am from out of state and used a Land Rover mechanic finder, I found Matt's Automotive & Collision Center in Fargo ND. I was not sure, but needed my 2009 Range Rover checked out. I arrived and found the shop staff to be very friendly and professional, I explained my issue and they have a RR guy on staff!! I felt better, I would definitely recommend this shop to fellow RR owners!! My RR is running great and will definitelycome back when I return to COLD ND!!!
