Previously known as A&C Automotive and Machine, this location was purchased by Matt’s Automotive in the summer of 2022. Our mission at Matt’s Automotive is to provide our customers with first in class service. Here at Matt’s we are more than just an experience… We’re the standard!

Great first experience. Went in for an oil change. Was completely quickly, and additional service were offered but not pushed. Very welcoming environment!

Consumers please beware. The employees and upper management at this automotive center are completely and utterly dishonest people. They downright LIE about interactions and reasons automobiles are initially brought in for service.The responses to the negative comments are coming from a company that employs very dishonest and honestly scary people. It is public information on the Minnesota Judicial Website regarding misdemeanor AND felony convictions that really speak to the character of these people. If I would have been more diligent and looked in to this business I would NEVER have come near that location. It is seriously frightening. I implore anybody who has been wronged / harmed by this place of business to please reach out. They have taken advantage of the wrong family because I will not let this just slide by and am currently pursuing legal ways to rectify this AWFUL consumer “scam artistry”. It is continuing to happen because they are not being held accountable at all!

Worst experience ever. Taking them to court. Filing with the BBB and reporting to the attorney general. Stay clear of this shop. They will change your amount owed based on how they're feeling personally. I will update this post with the results from the civil suit once I have them.

Very upset with the service they provided me. Our battery went in our car and when I dropped it off I told them it’s the battery. Then when they finally got it in the shop they called and said they needed to do testing on it to see what the exact problem was because the screen on the dash wasn’t working. That was $130 to start. Then they called back and said yup it’s your battery!! Just like I stated! Anyway they told me it was $300 to fix the battery they told me that when they brought the car in the garage it started up it’s fine. I told them that I would come get the car and take it some place else due to the price of changing the battery. When I got there that night to pick up the car it obviously wouldn’t start. But even with jumping it a few times it wouldn’t. So I’m not sure how they started it up just fine. Anyway I had to leave it there because I wasn’t going to call a tow truck and bring it some place else for even more money. They got it in the next day. All together I spent $400 plus. I also got a tire rotation. When we got the car home the tire sensor light came on and said it needed to be serviced. They didn’t reset the sensor after putting the tires back on. I’m just upset because I’ve never felt with this before and I get it prices are going up. But if prices are going up then service needs to be better. Don’t send someone home with another issue they have to get taken care of.They did reach out and take care of the situation! A lot of places now a days don’t do that! So I do appreciate that. Just hope I have a better experience next time.

I ended up at Matt's because of convenience but was pleasantly surprised at their level of professionalism. They were able to get to my vehicle in a timely manner and very promptly corrected the issues after I approved the estimate. They also informed me that my vehicle is now covered by their roadside assistance program just because I had a repair done with them. Check this place out next time you need service or repairs, they are very easy to deal with and super friendly.

Matt's team in North Branch actually has great personal relations skills, qualified mechanics. Nicole is a very upbeat, energetic and knowledgeable front desk gal. She impressed me the moment I walked through the door.

Great service, much nicer lobby than any other shop I've been to. Offered to do a couple extra quick tasks and when I declined, they didn't pressure me or make me feel like I had to get these things replaced. Service was great, they were very informative. I also appreciate the ability to actually schedule my appointment online, with zero phone calls.

Don't bring your vehicle to Matt's Auto! I brought my vehicle in and told them what I needed fixed (#8 coil & plug) so I wouldn't have to pay extra for their testing. They fixed the one thing I asked them....they charged me $118 for a coil that is a $64 part and $170 for a half hour of working! Totaling $306.01 But I didn't care because it ran great! For 2 days! Then it ran worse than before, so I called them Monday morning (they were closed Sat and Sun) and they said bring it back and they will fix it and if it's what they already fixed I would NOT be charged again. They had my vehicle for 4 days this time and there was no communication, I ended up going up there to check to see what was going on because they wouldn't even answer the phones. When I got to Matt's Auto there was one old man working alone and said he hasn't had time to look at it. The next day they called to inform me that they didn't know what was wrong and they had to do a "level 10" testing! I've never heard of different levels of testing but I told them since it was a new problem "according to them" they could run the testing. Next day they call me and say it's fixed! I got a ride up there and they told me it was the #8 coil but it melted! I asked to see the melted coil and they said they no longer had it. Then they told me I owed them another $215 for the testing that they did! I told them only to run testing if it WASN'T the same issue. The man at the desk told me that he would have his boss call me. His boss called me and told me I was charged for the labor even though my receipt says its for level 9 testing (they dropped it from a level 10 to a level 9) Long story short they had my vehicle for 5 days total charged me $523.14 to fix the same coil twice, because they gave me a bad coil. I will never go back there again!

Tom was very helpful and kind. I had a simple issue and they took care of it quickly without overcharging me for not knowing anything. Lol. Will for sure be back!

I was told by another shop that I had a ton of things wrong with my air conditioning and it was going to cost me 3000 or more to get my ac working. I brought it here for a second opinion and the found out it was a leak in my rear ac line. Costed me less then half and I have great ac now where as woth the other shop they wanted me to block the back ac line cause otherwise it would have costed me 5000 at the other place

They helped me pick my tires out around my price range. And when I came in to get them done Tom gave my son the TV Remote. Amd let him watch TV and drinks. Even tho my son is not the Quietest. He didn't say a thing he made sure we were comfortable and made sure. We got? My. Tires done fast And right. recommend highly and I'll be going back there for my tires at most likely repairs if I have to.

Tom was very friendly, helpful and stayed in communication. They were good at being able to fit us in and go over things. Definitely will be my go to for our vehicles!

Matt’s Automotive is great! They got my car fixed and back to me within a couple of days (it was a big repair). Definitely will use them for future repairs. Will recommend to family and friends as well.

I went here to have my car inspected to see what was going on. After being told many times about how he's "just trying to be a honest person" I got a QUOTE of $350 just to have my car INSPECTED to find the problem, I decided to call and try elsewhere. I went through KNH auto in Harris and had my car completely inspected, repaired, and fixed for $257 with a oil change. I will never go here again!! PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR THEIR OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!! There are many better options in the area that won't rip you off.

The service was fast. They found a lot of issues and listed them along with prices. They gave me the option of which ones to address with no pressure sales tactics.They were also able to help me out with a loaner vehicle for a couple of days.I will be back.
