I am very happy with my experience at Matt's Auto. Being new to town I was very worried about finding a good auto shop. They gave me an honest assessment of my vehicle and didn't try to up sell me on anything or pressure me into fixing every little thing the same day. When I need to get further maintenance done I will be coming back for sure! They also provided me with an individulized quote of services so I can plan future services in accordance with my finances!

Matts automotive was a great experience. First time I've ever used them. They kept me up-to-date on what was going on with my vehicle. I felt very comfortable with leaving my vehicle with them and they had it for a few days and also gave me a loaner car so I could get to and from work.

I recently brought my 2017 Subaru Outback for an unknown issue plus routine maintenance at the 43 1/2 Street location. They quickly identified the issue and fixed it in a timely manner. The staff was welcoming especially Brianna. She was genuinely engaging and friendly. 10/10 would go back for future repairs and upkeep.

Fair prices and honest work. Thanks for treating my car well! Came in with a stuck thermostat, dirty coolant, and iffy brakes. Came out good as new, and my car turned 10 this year. I would reccomend Matt's to anyone! 10/10 communication, friendly and knowledgeable staff made a stressful situation go by with ease. You wont regret bringing your car here, and they wont overcharge you! They actually charged me almost 2 thousand less than my dealership to fix my radiator last year, too. These guys are awesome.

7 days and $700 later, I finally got my car back. I brought in my Tesla for a right rear TPMS repair/replacement… got it back with faulty left rear sensor. Yes, they had my car for a week! I had to call multiple times to ask for an update. After a week, they called me saying they fixed the rear right sensor, but now the left rear TPMS isn’t working, if I wanted it fixed, it will cost me more money. That left rear sensor was working just fine before… and it took them a week to fix ONE sensor! A Tesla service center said 1 hour per sensor and 1/3 of the cost. Never again. I had no car for a week, which was a major inconvenience. 👎

I went there to get an oil change for my car and Austin answer my phone at the location close to the West acres mall. From the moment he answered the phone, he was extremely professional, valued my time and gave me flexible times and didn't push any services in my face. When it was time to pay, he took his time and went over everything in my car that needed attention. Once again didn't push anything, just showed me with videos and pictures what they noticed. Would recommend to anyone. Austins a cool guy with a great personality. He definitely adds value and positivity to the team there.

Very nice shop but I experienced more "show" than service. I received quite poor customer service. My initial phone call was routed to what I believe is a call center. The woman who took my call was not a ray if sunshine at all but she efficiency found what shop in town had the earliest opening so I set an appointment to have noisy brakes looked at. I then realized they have a body shop as well and called back and got the same woman. It was almost as if she completely forgot talking to me just moments earlier. I asked if at the same time my vehicle was in for service they could asses a small bit of body damage and get me a repair estimate. She said she "thinks" they can do that and said she added it to my notes. I dropped my vehicle off at my appointment time right away in the morning and dealt with another woman who was also none too excited to be at work. After going through everything with her AGAIN that I had gone through with the scheduler I left the shop being told I would get a phone call with diagnostic information. Fast forward to the end of the day, that call never happens and I left the vehicle there overnight. The next day I waited a couple hours after they opened and called. This time I managed to get the shop my car was at and was talking to the woman I had checked in with. She gruffly told me there was nothing found wrong with the car and they couldn't duplicate the issue. I get it, fine. It happens. But no phone call? Why did I have to call. I immediately went to pick the car up and was told they could arrange a tech to ride with me to see if I could duplicate the sound but I would have to be at another time and another diagnostic cost. I said forget it, if they determined the brakes were safe and not failing, fine. I'll deal with the noise. I asked about body shop estimates and she again, gruffly told me that they dont do that. OK fine. Thanks. When I drove off in the vehicle the brakes immediately were making the noise. I figure they never took it for a test drive but who knows. This place could be great, unfortunately my experience was far from it. I will be returning to my regular shop. Also, I appreciate that the place doesn't smell like burnt oil and stale farts, but whatever they're pumping into the air for aroma is so overpowering its almost nauseating.

Absolutely awful. Had my car in twice for the same noise coming from my suspension, was told both times the problem had been fixed, paid over $1500 for them to assess the problem and do other work. Neither time was my problem properly assessed or fixed. Had my brakes done during these disasterous and repeated visits, and had to bring my vehicle back to have the brakes installed properly the second time and not have the problem with my suspension even identified despite pointing out it was the source of the noise.Brought it to the location on 32nd Ave and they wanted $180 just to identify the problem AFTER MY CAR HAD BEEN ON THE LIFT TWICE at the 13th Ave location with me specifically asking them to find out what it is and having at least $1500 spent with the company just within a couple of weeks. I would venture to say I've spent over $10k with them, probably closer to 15.Been going there for years out of convenience. No longer.

Matt’s Automotive on 53rd Ave near 52nd in West Fargo is phenomenal! My husband usually handles the appointments for my car, and we recently had my brakes inspected after struggling with the issue for almost three years. They fixed it, and I finally feel happy and safe driving again. My husband also scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for me. I showed up thinking it was the correct day, but it turns out the appointment was actually for the following week. Even though it was our misunderstanding, they still took my car in — which I really appreciated! They arranged a ride for me since it would take a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my phone in the rideshare car. I called Matt’s Automotive from another phone and told them what happened. They immediately contacted the driver for me. The driver had another passenger to drop off first, which was completely understandable, but shortly after, my phone was returned to my doorstep — while Matt’s Automotive was still on the line with the driver making sure I got it back. That is truly going above and beyond — not only with my car, but personally as well. Thank you so much to the entire team at Matt’s Automotive. Highly recommend!

Not the cheapest shop you'll find, but you certainly get what you pay for. Very knowledgeable/skilled techs, very thorough with their inspections and their work is always quality and backed with a very healthy warranty. I fully trust their repair suggestions, as I've had other recent repairs done at other shops on commonly flagged components such as the suspension/steering and they have never tried to sell me on repairs to parts I know to be in good condition, though they found plenty of other issues on my 30 year old vehicle. Great customer service as well. Normally I'm not happy taking calls about more issues and more repairs needed, but Austin was always great about explaining the situation and not trying to oversell, and of course more issues are discovered the deeper you look. Never a bad experience dealing with him or Chris. Austin even helped me work through a warranty claim on my existing battery, having my tech dig up serial numbers and take photos for me so I could track down the claim and be a total nuisance. Service above and beyond what most shops provide.

Austin was great to work with at the Fargo location and answered every question that I had. My pick up was in need of updated maintenance and he was upfront with the service that would be needed. I also started having problems with my pick up starting and a new battery was needed. The customer service was top-notch. We’ll definitely be bringing our vehicles back here for future appointments.

My truck had died on I94. Matts took a look at it and got us back on the road. We still had a long drive and made it on time. I'm very grateful for the service at Matt's and they followed up with me to make sure everything went well.

This was the best experience in a mechanic's shop ever. Chris and Austin were awesome!Came in for a "check engine light" issue. After being on the road for over 1,500 mile trip, Las Vegas to Fargo Moorehead. In a 2018 Land Rover- Range Rover HSE L405.I own a diagnostic computer and was able to retrive the DTC code P0173-00.I've cleared it. But it did not come back. Just be sure I've researched specialist in the area.Matt's Automotive was one of many. The reviews were great! I have to agree... they are the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and no-nonsense service. They hooked it up to thir computer and were able to look it over and confirm that at this time it is an, "keep an eye on it, issue".The initial diagnostic was complimentary. Onheard of if you go to a dealership.I highly recommend their businesses for any mechanical work on your foreign or domestic vehicles. To top it all their waiting area is like a nice hotel reception area.Coffee, and nice tv's to ease the wait. They were very quick on taking care of my issues.Took me longer to write this review than for them to investigate and determine the best action to take.Thank you and keep the great work ethics and great attitude.

Diagnostics and further testing to find out that the code originally found was the correct code. Matts didn't have the solution as they were unsure what was causing it and recommended updating the system of my Honda. They said it would take a bit as they were backed up from Monday, so 8 hours later they came to me and said we might have to smoke out the issue if the lights kept coming on. But that would have to take place at a later date. I said cool and paid 400$ as the main reason I went there was because they gave me a card that they no longer accepted as of March. Driving home and as soon as I park my car the dash lit up like a Christmas tree.

Matt's Automotive is the best shop that I've ever been to. I started going here after I learned I couldn't trust the local Honda dealership with my car. I'm happy to pay a little more for service I can trust and depend on. When I have repairs, Matt's provided a loaner vehicle. I just got my oil changed Wednesday before heading to Kansas this Friday morning. I sent them a text when I saw my check engine light on at 7:15 am. They don't usually open until 8, but they came in early just to make sure that my car could make the trip back to Kansas. Turned out it was just an evap sensor. So, Stella my dog and I were safe to make the trip and check it out later. Thank you Matt's Automotive!

Just left Matt’s Automotive. Exceptional Service. They texted me an appointment reminder the day before. I was in and out quickly. Austin did a great job offering services without being pushy about them and explaining information about my car.Additionally, I felt very comfortable as a woman going to get her car serviced and the bathroom was spotless and fully stocked!

Matt’s Automotive Service in Fargo is absolutely amazing to work with! Austin went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. Even though I ultimately decided not to move forward with the full scope of repairs on my car and ended up totaling it instead, Austin was incredibly respectful and took the time to talk me through all of my options without any pressure. I truly appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and kindness throughout the whole process. I 10/10 recommend Matt’s Automotive, and they’ll be my go-to for all auto work in the future!

Great service from everyone that helped me. Informative about what was wrong, Jenny made the appointment and gave me an update during the day. It was finished quick and I was able to use a coupon from the mail! Overall Great experience. When it comes to dealing with a broken car, you couldn't ask for anything better!

It was a wonderful experience at Matt's Auto; from their beautiful waiting room, the friendly receptionist, Hailey, to the knowledgeable mechanic, Sophie. I'm an older woman driving a mustang with very little knowledge about the mechanics of how it works. They treated me with respect and listened to my concerns. Sophie did the appropriate tests to find the problem my car was having. Which wasn't easy to detect. She fixed it right away. Now my car runs great!I highly recommend Matt's Auto. They have a great team. And Sophie, my mechanic, is awesome!

We have been using Matt's for over a decade now for my daughter's car, because we are from NW North Dakota. We love the fact that they are honest and would be sure to talk to "dad" about any issues big and small before doing any work. They are very professional and dependable. When we had a problem with our vehicle while visiting Fargo this spring they got us in right away so we could head back home! Really really love these folks. And finally got to meet Jenny face to face. Thanks for all your help Jenny! I really love the fact that they can work on our "new" used vehicles!

This place is incredible. Great mechanics, great staff, great work. Vern and the manager of the one on 13th Ave are who I've dealt with most. My wife has dealt with others. I highly recommend Matt's Automotive to anyone needing car repairs. My wife and I will be faithful customers for life that is for sure

I erased my prior review for this service center and am writing a new one.Do not take your vehicle here for maintenance, even as simple as an oil change. The last time I took my vehicle here it came back home with more issues than it had when it went in.Not only that, but the services that I asked for originally were done very sloppy. The caliper on my driver side wasn't tightened all the way and the brake bleed job wasn't finished due to a seized bleeder on the back, didn't tell me until I came to pick up my vehicle, would have had them fix that as well so the bleed could be done properly. So I ended up with poor brakes, and unbuttoned caliper and a truck with tons of leaks elsewhere that it didn't have before. It was inspected prior only days earlier by a dealership and myself. They got hundreds of dollars out of me for a poor job and more issues than it had. This business does not seem to mind to screwing over regular everyday citizens, and now military veterans as well.Do, not, use their services!

First time client to have new tires mounted and balanced, plus alignment. Very courteous representatives, and their electronic notification service (with diagnoses and work approval capability) works well. Good first experience with Matt's.

I'm heartbroken and utterly disappointed. For years, I've been a loyal customer of Matt's Automotive. Based on my previous experiences with Matt's, I have referred I don't know how many people every time I overheard somebody asking for a recommendation for a shop in town that was trustworthy.Yes, they were always on the pricier side, but their expertise and efficiency made it seem worthwhile. Sadly, my recent experience has shattered that trust, and I can confidently say I will never return. What was supposed to be a 'simple brake service' & inspection of my brake system as well as alternator turned into a five-day ordeal filled with a lot of waiting, awkward silence, and ultimately frustration and miscommunication. During which my car wasn't even fixed for the original issue and ended up in worse condition then when I brought it there.... To make matters worse, this happened during my move, leaving my and my son's belongings trapped inside my vehicle.Initially, I wasn't concerned because I trusted Matt's and their employees. I believed my possessions were safe.........However, while my vehicle was in their care, the passenger side window completely detached from its track and fell into the door. Not only was I not informed of this damage, but my car was also left outside for an unknown number of days before I discovered it myself. Upon inspecting my vehicle, I noticed items were missing from my belongings. I'm not accusing Matt's of theft; it's more likely that opportunistic individuals passing by saw the compromised window and took advantage. But the fact remains: my sense of security was violated. This entire experience has been deeply traumatic. The combination of the botched repair, the damaged window, and the missing belongings has left me feeling violated and betrayed. I understand that mistakes happen, and things get missed, but the complete lack of communication and care is unacceptable. I'm truly sorry, but I can no longer trust Matt's Automotive with my vehicle.**Edit ; upon picking my vehicle up from matts it was abundantly clear they had hit a light pole that was in front of where my vehicle was parked . Let me be clear I do not drive a nice brand new fancy vehicle, however the vehicle I have is my literal baby my pride and joy. Not only was I not informed that my vehicle apparently had hit a light pole I had to figure this out myself based off of the mud on my tires, the trench dug into the grass in front of my vehicle that perfectly aligned with the tires, and the crack in the base of the light pole directly in front of it. Needless to say I feel absolutely violated and I just want to cry! NEVER NEVER NEVER will I ever bring a vehicle here again!

I've givin Matt's two separate chances. First time I brought a truck here was a costly mistake . Brought a f250 with unknown engine troubles. After completely tearing down to find the issue the bill was little over $4k. That's fine and expected. They quoted me $17k for a complete engine replacement with all the crap to go with it witch was fine. I didn't have the money so I declined further work to be done. After i declined more work for motor swap, at this point my motor was still tore down to the block. They put a BROKEN MOTOR BACK TOGETHER instead of letting me take it as is disassemble. Ultimately ATI did the motor swap and saved me $4k. But In the end I paid for the labor to tear down the motor twice or no reason. So this week I figured I'd give them one last shot. I had a small task of replacing rear break line because mine were cut. So i approved the break inspection and added a look over 50pt inspection also. Ultimately get told they were unable to complete the break inspection because I didn't have the key for the rims so they can't get the rims off. Fine but yet they are charging me the full price of the inspection even tho they can't complete it. And that they can't fix the two cut lines either because they can't get the rims off. I told them my issue i was having. They said the break inspection will be needed to verify what I just told them. But to charge me for something you didn't complete/ can't complete is unacceptable.ICING ON THE CAKE WAS a friend noticed my truck sitting in their lot over night and seen the passenger side windrow was rolled completely down. So they called me to give me a heads up that the window was left like that all night. So in my opinion they truly only care about money and don't give a damn about your vehicle or property inside them.MATT'S AUTOMOTIVE - The place that will charge you out the ass for its services but at least they do it with a smile! 🤑

Matt's Auto was a pain to deal with. They pretty much forced me into a new battery with my old battery being a month old. Didn't even ask me if I had a warranty on the old battery. This was after they already failed to call me back once. I want to say that my troubles ended there, but they were going to charge me for 8 spark plug replacements after I specifically asked for just one. (Usually replacing all of them is a good idea, but I mentioned to them that I just had them replaced and only needed the one.)After they finished with the vehicle, I couldn't start it as they failed to tighten the battery connections. (In their defense, it was a modded connection solution but it was a matter of tightening two nuts...)In conclusion, they fixed the main issue that I brought the vehicle in for, they failed to diagnose the secondary issue where they recommended a 1 grand repair that "might" fix the issue, and they fixed something that was not an issue before it went in the shop. Two of the three people I talked to were really nice and helpful and ultimately got me back on the road, but it was a long and painful process with their current system of passing information.I can see where their services can be really nice for newer vehicles and smaller issues. Do not go there with older vehicles with quirks as they are not as flexible with those issues.I have to give 2 stars even though they fixed my main issue mostly because of the lack of communication and issues with time. Sadly, they don't fit my needs as an older vehicle owner.Update:Plugged in the "dead" battery they replaced, and it charged up and is holding a charge great. Be careful of forced replacements.

A bit pricy ( i haven't had a ton of work done on my car so that just might mean the price went up like everything else), but seriously... you want your car fixed right the first time, just go to Matt's. Went to numerous Ford dealerships and got nowhere. They figured it out right away and it's still going strong. They'll tell you everything thing that is wrong and won't pressure you into any of it. I'm fixing my car in stages and will see you soon for the back shocks and stuff!Thank you so much!

Highly recommend these guys. I took my Escalade to three other mechanics including dealerships telling them the ball joints bad in my car you can feel it while you drive and when I had my tires balanced northwest tire said the passenger ball joint is showing wear but all the mechanics I took it to said nothings wrong. Finally took it to these guys they diagnosed the lower passenger ball joint was bad and they fixed it right way.Definitely taking my Escalade to these guys for now on.

$371 battery change out… my kid is at college and I happen to be a mechanic. However when she is 5 hrs away I can’t always be there… she needed a battery and was charged $371!!! This included a test on the battery and replacement of battery… wow!!! Also they recommended that she fix a bunch of stuff that doesn’t need it… watch out people!

Terrible customer service!! They couldn't even tell me the cost of break pads for my vehicle, they refused! The only service I wanted was new break pads, that's it! The guy said we don't have that ability there are thousands of vehicles out there, um, excuse me sir, I gave you my VIN number, you looked up my vehicle. Telling me that you can't understand what break pads would go with my truck, to refuse a quote is asinine! I will take my money and business somewhere else!

After bringing my vehicle here for years and spending thousands, they ran up a $600 bill to replace spark plugs then wanted $5k to replace catalytic converters. Canceled that then when I came to pick up my truck it was scratched on the bumper and Matt himself said "they didn't do it", though when I dropped it off they took pictures and clearly was nothing wrong at that time. Matt claims damages to vehicles while in their care is not on them so I warn you do not bring your vehicle here. Terrible experience that will cost me more than what I brought it in for. Stay away.

Update (2024):**Pros:**1. Excellent communication and customer service.2. Comprehensive complimentary inspection with photos and detailed information about parts, fluids, and vehicle body conditions that may need attention.3. Complimentary rides available while your vehicle is being serviced and a robust parts warranty, particularly in terms of mileage.**Cons:**1. Expect longer turnaround times for vehicle repairs.2. Due to their business model, which emphasizes employee compensation, customer service, and extensive parts warranty, services are more costly compared to average repair shops.3. Technicians follow strict protocols and may recommend immediate repairs for issues that could potentially be deferred, which might feel like unnecessary pressure.4. Despite having paid for a lifetime alignment after a strut replacement, I was denied this service due to a slightly loose inner tie rod, which Schumacher had deemed non-critical. This was after I had already replaced an outer tie rod at Schumacher. Matt's insisted that replacing the inner tie rod was essential for performing the alignment, whereas I preferred to proceed with the alignment even if it wasn't textbook perfect. This led to additional charges and frustration over the refusal to perform the alignment without the costly part replacement.I was charged over $44 for Matt's inspection of the steering and tie rods. However, one of the staff members informed me that there would be no charge if the alignment could be completed. Due to the slight play in the inner tie rod, they would not perform the unlimited lifetime alignment I had paid extra for some time ago, and I ended up being charged today for the inspection, which was an unfortunate surprise. As a result, I will return to Schumacher for the alignment, which will cost me $100 on top of the inspection fee from Matt's, as Schumacher's mechanics had already inspected the part and believe the alignment can be performed without issue.5. The high cost of maintenance and frequent recommendations for non-urgent repairs led me to stop using their services. Alternative opinions revealed that some suggested repairs, such as power steering system replacements, were not necessary.6. Long wait times are common, and the complimentary inspection, which is mandatory at each visit, adds to this. More extensive inspections incur additional costs.7. Matt’s Auto Service seems more suited for upper-class clients with newer vehicles. The service model, with its high standards and associated costs, may not be ideal for middle or lower-class customers, especially those with older vehicles that do not require perfection. For a more cost-effective approach, consider a shop that offers multiple opinions on necessary repairs.Previous review (2021):I went to Matt's because of a Costco membership coupon and for a second opinion on some work needed on my vehicle and I'm glad I did! I was really impressed with how professional and thorough this place is. They were able to diagnose the issue I was experiencing and also did some routine maintenance. The coupon was just a plus on top of the great service. I really liked the text updates so I could access any information about issues and see images/videos provided if they found known issues. I also liked the ability to see the prices of maintenance needed and a list of what the maintenance is for. I appreciated Vern calling me and bring prompt about updates and explaining anything I had questions on. He was very flexible and knowledgeable. Very pleased with his customer service experience. Last, but not least, loved that they put a plushie in my baby's car seat. Such a nice touch. Whoever came up with that idea, you're awesome! My child will hug anything plushie so she liked it right away. 🤍

Brought my truck here multiple times, I swear it came out with more problems than it went in with. Also charged me $400 for an "inspection to double check the issue at hand". After I picked it up, the same part went out a week later and they charged me full price to fix it right. I was suspicious they were over charging and messing with my vehicle so I would bring it back in. Called other mechanics, prices were cheaper, they actually fixed my vehicle and didn't charge "inspection" fees. If you don't believe me, search "matts automotive fargo nd reddit." And see all of the terrible reviews and what people are reccomending for a trustworthy mechanic. If they're booked out a week or two, trust me it's worth the wait. I also saw Matt's Auto raises their prices 300%. I never ever leave bad reviews but this one needed to be said.Oh and one more thing. Don't believe all of these 5 star ratings. You can use bots to automatically write your business good reviews on Google. Go to other sources for real reviews.

I'd honestly give 10 stars if I could. Jenni and her team at this location have been a dream to work with. My wife's Fusion recently started having some transmission issues, we had been customers in the past and were referred here by our extended warranty. They've handled everything so professionally with the warranty company and did all the leg work to make sure that my wife and I are taken care of. I cannot stress enough how great they've been to us through this whole process. Matt himself has even gotten in contact with me a few times to explain what's going on and what the options are. You'll truly be treated like family when you bring your vehicle here.

I found out too late I bought a lemon and the Warranty company wouldn't help me. Matt's took the time to go through everything with me and helped me through a very confusing situation. Their customer service was incredible. Keeley was new to the shop but went above and beyond to assist me. I definitely would recommend this shop in Fargo.

Travelling home from college our daughter’s vehicle broke down south of Fargo. AAA recommended Matt’s so she had it towed there. As it was a Saturday evening they were not open. We drove down and picked her up and left her key in the handy drop box with the envelopes they provide. The envelope is well designed with questions about the vehicle and its trouble. The staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and were very good at keeping us updated. They had a tech who was off sick and a part which was shipped to Bismarck rather than Fargo so the repair took two and a half weeks. We could not get down to pick it up during the week but they have lock boxes which allow you to use a code to get your keys while the shop is closed. We never met anyone face to face and were never inside the shop but we are very happy with their service. They also have a discount for AAA members.

Matt’s was great to deal with after a particularly bad travel day. We had a flat tire on the highway and needed to be towed to Fargo. The car did not have a spare tire. (Who knew that was even a thing?) We waited 4 hours for a tow truck and were pretty frazzled by the time we got to Matt’s. They didn’t have the size of tire we needed but allowed us to bring in a tire from another shop. They put the tire on for us and got us on the road again. They charged us for an agreed upon inspection. They were pleasant and respectful and helped to make a stressful day more bearable.

They charge labor on a preset rate of selectable “jobs” rather than how long it actually took them to perform tasks resulting labor charges higher than how much time they spent on the vehicle and charges that overlap on related tasks. They also wasted more time taking my vehicle in and out of the shop and taking wheels on and off rather than just keeping it in the shop and doing the services the first time it went inside. Lastly, rather than talking directly to the tech servicing my vehicle who could answer my questions, I had to talk to a receptionist every time resulting in poor explanations and waiting for them to go ask the tech questions.

I came here for an oil change, and they offered me a complimentary once-over of my car along with it, so I agreed; however, I was also surprised with a charge for windshield washer fluid. I specifically said that I only wanted the oil change and the once-over. I did not ask for them to fill my washer fluid, nor was I told about it before they charged me for it.

I would highly recommend getting a second opinion if this is the first place you go. They told me it was going to be around 2200 to replace my subframe because it was extremely rotten. I brought it to another place that told me matts extremely overpriced and upcharges people. Was able to get the part ordered and fixed it for $1550 about $700 less.

Jenn has always upfront with me and nothing had been done without my approval. Sometimes I don't like what I'm told (who likes to spend $ on repairs) but I always get an explanation on why it should be done. Matt's is the only place I go for my mom's, daughter's & my vehicle maintenance and repair

They did a good job on what they did: but I brought it in to fix the squeaking noise my vehicle makes when I brake. Left with it still squeaking. They acknowledged that it I still squeaked too…. Wouldn’t recommend unless you absolutely know what you need and tell them explicitly that.

Came in with an electrical issue and Matts did an excellent job of being communicative and trying to find the parts I needed, they were very patient and took excellent care of my vehicle. Jenni was a big big help!

Picked up a nail while passing through town and they were able to get me in and repair the tire while I waited. Super friendly staff and nice, clean lounge and waiting room.

I was passing through town on a long road trip and had an electrical malfunction requiring immediate attention to allow safe driving. Two other locations I tried would not look at the car for several days. Matt's understood my dilemma and took my car right in. In very little time they had the problem resolved and I was back on the road. I really appreciated their concern for solving my problem to get me back on my way. Thank you to every one at Matt's Automotive. Great Job, Great Service by every one I encountered. Definitely a cut above in Fargo, Nd.

I brought in my vehicle that i have had the same issue with for 2 years. The dealership woul constantly reace a sensor here and there, but it would never fix the issue. And i had it into them at least 15 times and the literally had my vehicle for 6 weeks over the 2 years. In a matter of a few hours Matts Automotive found the main issue. And worked with my extended warranty to get it fixed. The car is now reliable again. Thank you Matt's Automotive.

My car's check engine light came on so I went to get it checked out. I was told that they would need to replace the evap hose, canister, sensor, valve, and everything. Almost $2000 worth of work. It didn't feel right to me, so I went someplace else and they said I only needed to replace the hose. They changed it out, tested the valve, and everything worked great. Less than $400 for diagnostics, parts, and labor. I will never come back to Matt's. How dare you try to make me pay so much for parts I don't need. You are crooked and you are the reason people don't trust mechanics.

In January 10,2023 AAA tow service was called by me (Betty Chevis) to have my car towed my car for repairs because of the clutch on my car malfunctioning (stuck in the down position). I received information from the Matt’s mechanic that not only was the clutch need to replaced but the transmission needed to be replaced. The service I received from Matt’s was outstanding. I was even given a vehicle to drive until my car was repaired. I am Very pleased and would recommend Matt’s to family, friends and new members.

Stopped in this afternoon to have a tire repaired and Demetrius couldn't of been more helpful. He truly had my best interest in mind which is hard to find these days. I will bring my work vehicle from Matt's going forward just because of the level of service. THANKS DEMETRIUS!

The folks at Matt’s were super friendly and were in the process of fixing the transmission in our car when they found additional problems with the car and notified me of the problem. After finding replacement parts to fix the car it was decided that the cost was more than the car, they put the car back together for me and I replaced it with another car. They even had a loaner car to use while they were fixing my car. Will definitely use they again.

Wow! where do I begin? Matt, Jenn and the entire crew were very accommodating and very straight forward. I usually dread going to any automotive repair center but my experience at Matt's changed my perspective totally.I had an out of state trip that would have been impossible if they did not go out of their way to get me in for the necessary repairs. They completed the repairs as they promised and the charges were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Matt's Automotive Service Center.

Always know that I can depend and trust Matt's Automotive to take excellent care of my vehicle! Love the fact that they take photos of everything and show you 1st hand what needs to get repaired and what doesn't. They are upfront about everything, and I have never ever felt pushed into repairing something that I didn't want done at the time. They put you as the customer in the driver's seat when it comes to deciding on what and when you want to get things repaired! In my opinion, one of the best automotive repair shops around!
