Matt’s Automotive Service Center is committed to providing our clients with exceptional service. Even as we face the challenge of COVID-19, that same commitment continues. At the forefront of this promise is the safety of our clients and team members while we continue to serve our great communities. We are taking all precautions to continue to provide a safe and healthy environment for our clients & our team members.

At this time, we are closing four of our six locations starting Friday, March 20 at 5:30 pm:

-Moorhead (1234 1st Ave N)

-South Moorhead (2911 16th St S)

-South Fargo (1617 32nd Ave S)

-West Acres (3441 13th Ave S)

Our Fargo (1150 43 ½ St S) and Collison Center (6108 53rd Ave S) locations will remain open. The status of these stores is being evaluated on a day to day basis as more information about the COVID-19 pandemic is released.

In these uncertain times you may find that you must travel on short notice for medical care or to help friends and families and will rely on your vehicles now more than ever. If you feel your car may need service or maintenance now is the time to act for 2 reasons:

-As most auto parts are manufactured overseas, there could be a future shortage of vehicle parts for repairs. While this may have some impact on the timeliness of some repairs, Car Dealerships and Franchise Repair Shops will be more affected than Matt’s Automotive Service Center as we are independent and not tied to one supply source.

-There may be an impact on the labor pool of technicians, leaving a shortage of technicians able to work on vehicles. The recent school closings are a great example of this as people need to stay home with their children that are not in school now. As we are being proactive with the above health precautions, and we anticipate we will be able to operate with less interruptions than other shops, now is the time to get those repairs done.

We are staying up to date on this very fluid situation and will comply with any additional guidelines as they are communicated to us. We have decided and are set up to provide all services with no person to person contact:

-We offer free pick-up and delivery of your vehicle

-We have a key drop located near the entrance for you to drop your keys

-We use a completely online system with texting and email to provide pictures and reports to you on your vehicle, along with the ability for you to approve or decline services and communicate directly with us.

We have implemented the following procedures to help promote a healthy environment while servicing and repairing vehicles.

-Team members will disinfectant the steering wheel, gear shift and door handles before entering any vehicle and after the repairs are completed.

-Team members have been instructed to wash their hands multiple times a day.

-Any team member with any type of illness or anyone in their home that is ill are being asked to stay home and to only return when fully recovered.

Over the last 11 years we have developed friendships and personal relationships with our clients. We always enjoy interacting with you, but we want to protect our teams and our clients by implementing these changes.

Until we can give you a high five or a hug in person, we are still here to service your vehicles!
